Regarding On-Line Payments
General
How do I know you received my payment?
You will receive confirmation the next morning via e-mail from the school district confirming receipt of your payment. Payments are processed each morning at 7:30 a.m. Any payments made after that time will not be processed until the following day.
Transportation
How do I purchase bus passes or tickets?
You may purchase them at the school offices or the district office by cash or check or on-line by credit card or electronic check.
After I pay on-line, how does my child get the bus pass(es) or ticket(s)?
Your child's school will be notified of the payment and your child will be able to pick them up the next day in the school office.
How do I indicate what I wish to purchase?
Indicate the details of your purchase in the "Comments" section.
How do I indicate whether the one-way bus pass is for mornings only or for afternoons only?
Indicate that information in the "Comments" section.
How do I purchase a bus pass and tickets?
Indicate the type of pass and the amount of tickets you wish to purchase in the "Comments" section.
How much do I pay?
The various options for bus fees may be found on the Transportation Fee Schedule on the Transportation web page of the AUSD web site.
How do I obtain free bus passes for my children?
You qualify for a free bus pass if your child is approved to receive free or reduced-price meals. An application for free or reduced-price meals, as well as a Bus Pass Application, must be completed even if your child does not wish to receive meals.
Child Nutrition
How do I prepay for breakfasts?
Indicate that in the "Comments" section.
Can I pay for food items other than a complete lunch or breakfast?
No, the on-line system is only available to purchase lunch and breakfast.
What is the price for lunches and breakfasts?
Lunch is $1.75 per day at Creekside Early Learning Center, Alpine Elementary School, Boulder Oaks Elementary School, and Shadow Hills School, and $2.00 per day at Joan MacQueen Middle School. Breakfast is $1.00 per day at all school sites and is served before school at Creekside Early Learning Center, Alpine Elementary School, and Boulder Oaks Elementary School, and during the first morning break at Joan MacQueen Middle School.

How much do I pay?
An invoice or bill is sent out each month from ESS. You may contact ESS at (619) 659-8695 if you are not sure how much you owe.
